Ioncube should be enabled in cPanel’s PHP before you install cPGuard. If you have not installed it, the WHM and cPanel plugin will not work as the code is encoded with Ioncube loader.
You can use the following steps to enable Ioncube in cPanel’s PHP.
- Login to WHM ( as root user)
- Go to Server Configuration -> Tweak Settings -> PHP
- In the “cPanel PHP loader” section select Ioncube check box
- Click on the Save button.
This will enable Ioncube for you in 3rd party PHP binary.
